La versione 1 ha validato il processo di produzione SMD e ha identificato due vincoli da risolvere: la necessità di un comparatore integrato per abilitare l'uscita digitale, e il problema irrisolto dell'allineamento laser. La svolta tecnologica che sblocca entrambi è l'acquisto di una stampante 3D: la possibilità di progettare e stampare supporti personalizzati apre un percorso completamente nuovo per il sistema di montaggio.
Version 1 validated the SMD production process and identified two constraints to resolve: the need for an integrated comparator to enable digital output, and the unresolved laser alignment problem. The technological breakthrough that unlocks both is the acquisition of a 3D printer: the ability to design and print custom mounts opens a completely new path for the mounting system.
